Admission and Enrollment Process

Admissions & Enrollment Process

Welcome to Paragon Christian Academy!

We are thrilled that you are considering joining our virtual learning community. Because our educational model relies on a strong partnership between our teachers and your family, our enrollment process is designed to ensure that we are the perfect fit for your child's spiritual and academic journey.

Step 1: Discover & Connect

Before applying, we want you to fully understand our unique approach.

  • Action: Review our Educational Philosophy and Parent Guide online.

  • Purpose: Ensure your family aligns with our Christian values and our "learning by doing" virtual methodology (rooted in Constructivism and Montessori principles), where parents act as active facilitators at home.

  • Connect: Fill out an online Inquiry Form to receive our detailed curriculum overview and technology requirements.

Step 2: Submit the Application

Ready to take the next step? Complete the formal application through our secure parent portal.

  • Required Documents:

    • Completed Student Application Form.

    • Previous academic records or transcripts (to help us align with Florida Department of Education standards).

    • A brief questionnaire about your child’s learning style, interests, and needs.

  • Application Fee: Submit the non-refundable application fee.

Step 3: The Family Connection Interview

Since we offer a highly individualized, virtual education, getting to know you is our priority.

  • The Meeting: A 30-minute virtual video call with our Admissions Director and/or an Academic Guide.

  • The Goal: We will discuss your child's unique needs, your family's faith journey, and the parent's crucial role as a home facilitator. This is the perfect time to ask any questions you have about our platform, daily schedules, and hands-on projects.

Step 4: Individualized Placement Assessment

We teach the way your student learns best, and we never leave anyone behind.

  • The Assessment: Your child will complete a low-pressure, interactive digital assessment in core subjects (Math, Reading, Language Arts).

  • The Goal: This is not a "pass or fail" test. It allows our teachers to pinpoint exactly where your child is academically, ensuring their personalized curriculum meets both their individual needs and the rigorous FLDOE standards.

Step 5: Official Enrollment & Tech Onboarding

Once accepted, it is time to make it official and set up your virtual classroom!

  • Paperwork: Sign the Enrollment Agreement, Statement of Faith, and finalize the tuition payment plan.

  • Tech Setup: Receive your student's secure login credentials for our virtual platform. Parents will also receive access to the Parent Portal to track progress.

  • Supply List: Receive a list of basic household or craft supplies your student will need for their hands-on, pragmatic learning projects.

Step 6: Virtual Orientation (Ready to Learn by Doing!)

Before the first day of classes, students and parents will attend a live Virtual Orientation.

  • Meet the Guide: Students will meet their teacher (their educational guide) and classmates.

  • Platform Tour: Learn how to navigate the virtual campus, submit projects, and communicate with teachers.

  • Launch: Your child is now ready to log in, explore, build, and grow!
